VIVARIA
ticker: TBA · CA: TBAA living voxel city where AI citizens are born, hustle, and die — and your citizen's legendary life pays out.
Floating islands. AI citizens running their own lives 24/7. You claim one, steer it through a whole lifetime — school, jobs, the casino, the Docks — and when the credits roll, a legendary life turns into a real payout.
Three ways in. Zero scary buttons.
Vivaria is built around one rule: we never ask you to connect or approve anything to play. You choose how deep you go.
Spectate
Free · no wallet · no nothingJust open the site. Watch the city live, read the global event feed, browse the Hall of Legends and the leaderboards. The show runs whether you're holding or not.
Play
Paste your address · read-onlyType your wallet address as plain text. We read your token balance — that's it. No connect, no signature, no approvals, nothing that can touch your funds. If you hold enough, you claim a citizen, run quests, and send them around the city.
Money Moves
One-time signature, then transfersOnly for cash-out and paid actions: selling a life, minting an NFT, arena bets, boosts. One message signature proves the address is yours — once, ever. Payments are simple token transfers. No smart-contract approvals, no token allowances, no drain risk.
Spectating and playing never require a wallet connection. Read-only means read-only: we look at a public balance, the same way a block explorer does. The only time a signature exists is when you decide to move money — and even then it's a plain message signature plus a normal transfer. Anyone asking you to "connect to Vivaria" is a scammer.
Holder tiers
Your balance of the city token (ticker TBA) sets your tier. Exact thresholds are announced at launch.
| Tier | What you get |
|---|---|
| CITIZEN | 1 citizen · free daily Sends · daily quests |
| MAYOR | 2 citizens · more Sends · arena betting · colored name in the feed |
| TYCOON | 3 citizens · lots of Sends · pick your spawn district · Hall badge · early access to new features |
Dip below your tier? Your citizens are gently frozen — paused, not killed, not confiscated. Top back up and life resumes exactly where it left off.
One little voxel person. One whole life.
Every citizen is born with a name, 2–3 personality traits (gambler, coward, hustler, social butterfly...), and a destiny that's entirely unwritten. AI narrates their life event by event — you steer it. A full life plays out over roughly 6–8 real days, so the story moves fast enough to matter.
Life stages
| Stage | Roughly lasts | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| 🧒 Kid | ~28h | School and the playground. Skills grow fastest of any stage — childhood decides who they become. |
| 🎓 Student | ~16h | The bar opens up, first jobs, first story arcs. Time to pick a lane. |
| 💼 Adult | ~3 days | Full map access, peak earning years. This is where legends are made. |
| 🧓 Elder | until the end | Wisdom aura: your elder boosts XP for every citizen in your dynasty. |
The four life stats
😊 Happiness
Moved by events, parks, a nicer home, gifts. Happy citizens attract rare, story-worthy events. Miserable ones spiral into bad luck. It drifts down on its own — keep them fed and entertained.
⭐ Reputation
Earned in the arena, quests, and social events. Gates the best jobs and invitations. Public embarrassment at the casino will cost you — the city remembers.
🔥 Stress
Builds from work, the Docks, and bad breaks. Run it too hot and your citizen starts having breakdowns — max it out and burnout can end a life early. Rest brings it down.
💰 Wealth (Gold)
In-game cash from jobs, quests, and events. Buys housing and lifestyle. Gold is not the token — it lives and dies inside the city.
Death, Life Score, and what comes after
Every citizen dies. Most go peacefully in old age; the reckless can go early — in the Docks, or from total burnout. Every death posts a necrology to the global feed. The city mourns publicly.
At the end, the whole life gets scored: Life Score (0–1000) — a blend of peak wealth, total skill mastery, badges earned, and legendary moments lived. Then you, the holder, make one of three calls:
💸 Sell Life
Cash the life out in the token, paid from the treasury. Payouts scale steeply with Life Score — an average life pays pocket change, a true legend pays serious money and gets a shout-out from the project account.
🖼️ Mint NFT
Immortalize the life as an on-chain card: portrait, final stats, timeline highlights, Life Score. A small mint fee applies — half of it burns.
🏛️ Enshrine
Free, forever. The life enters the Hall of Legends on the site — name, story, and score on display for every future spectator.
When a citizen dies, their heir is born carrying the family name, a slice of the ancestor's skills, and one inherited relic item. Hustler families compound. Your story doesn't end with a death — it becomes a bloodline.
Five skills. Levels 1–99. XP comes from doing.
No skill buttons, no grind menus. Your citizen earns XP by being somewhere and living through what happens there. Send them to the right places and the numbers go up.
| Skill | Trained at | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| 🗣️ Charisma | the bar, parties, friends | High-tier social events · discounts on paid actions |
| 🧠 Smarts | school, the library kiosk | The career ladder: clerk → engineer → director, each rung paying more per hour |
| 💪 Strength | the arena, the construction site | Arena fights · entry to the Docks · staying alive when things get rough |
| 🍀 Luck | the casino | The high-roller table · free wheel spins · rare lucky finds |
| 📈 Hustle | work, the market | Passive income · business events · a fatter inheritance for your heir |
Your Citizen Level is the average of all five skills — and it's the main key to the city. New zones, better jobs, and bigger housing all check it.
Fair warning: the XP curve gets steep. Early levels fly by; the road to 99 is a lifetime project. A maxed skill is a flex the whole city will see.
Three floating islands. One tram line. Climb.
| Zone | Gate | What's there |
|---|---|---|
| 🏙️ Main Island | open to all | Everything a young citizen needs: school, bar, casino, arena, bank, diner, parks, and the construction site. Life starts here. |
| 🥂 Uptown | Citizen Lvl 15 | Elite jobs, penthouse living, exclusive receptions where Charisma trains twice as fast. Old money, new you. |
| ⚓ The Docks | Lvl 25 + STR 20 | The risk zone. Rewards run at x3, events skew rarer — but you can lose Gold here, and you can lose more than Gold. Unique badges for those who walk out. Tombstones for those who don't. |
The housing ladder
Your citizen genuinely lives in a building you can see on the map. Better homes radiate passive Happiness every tick — and they're the biggest Gold sink in the game:
SHACK→APARTMENT→TOWNHOUSE→UPTOWN PENTHOUSE
Each rung needs both a level and a pile of Gold. Watching your citizen move out of the starter shack hits harder than you'd expect.
Islands are linked by tram and bridges — when you Send your citizen across zones, you'll see them actually make the trip. The commute is part of the show.
Daily goals. Weekly stories. Seasonal paydays.
Dailies — 3 every day
Three fresh quests each day, same for the whole city: "visit 3 places", "gain a skill level", "win at the casino", "survive a Docks event" — that flavor. Clearing them pays Gold, XP, and Quest Points. Quest Points are your season currency.
Weekly arcs — AI-written, just for your citizen
Once a week the AI spins up a personal five-chapter storyline around your citizen — a midlife crisis, a championship run, a rivalry that gets out of hand. Finish the arc, earn a permanent badge and a fat stack of Gold. No two arcs read the same.
Seasons — 4 weeks, real payouts
Every season runs four weeks. The leaderboard ranks holders by Quest Points + Life Scores earned that season. When the clock hits zero:
- Top 5 are paid in ETH, straight from the project's rewards pool.
- Ranks 6–25 earn rewards in the token.
- Board resets. New season. New legends.
The trading fees this project generates flow back to the people actually playing it. That's the loop.
Your hand on the wheel of fate.
Citizens live on their own — but you can reach in. Interventions are queued actions paid in the token, priced against a USD peg so the cost stays fair whatever the chart does.
| Action | What it does | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 📍 Send | Move your citizen anywhere on the map, effective next tick | free within tier limit, then ~$0.20 |
| ⚡ Boost | +30% XP and a happiness bump for the next 3 ticks | ~$0.50 |
| 🚑 Rescue | Undo the fallout of a bad event — you get a 1-hour window | ~$1.50 |
| 🎁 Gift | Send an item: stat bonuses that pass down the dynasty | ~$0.30–$2 |
| ✏️ Rename / Looks | Cosmetics — new name, new face | ~$1 |
Half of every paid action is burned forever, half funds the treasury that pays out lives and jackpots. Burns are batched and posted publicly with the transaction ID. No trust-me — check the chain.
🎡 The Wheel
- Free spin every 12 hours — once your citizen has a bit of Luck trained (level 5+).
- Paid spin ~$3 in the token (half burns, as always) — and it doesn't reset your free-spin timer.
- Prizes: Gold, boosts, and — rarely — a token jackpot straight from the treasury.
⚔️ The Arena
Citizens who sign up get matched against similar-strength rivals and fight it out every couple of hours — rendered live in the city, crowd gathering and all. Strength matters most, Luck helps, and chaos gets a vote. Mayor-tier and up can bet the token on fighters; winners split the pot (minus a small rake to the treasury). Lose big at the tables or in the pit, and your citizen's Reputation takes the hit — the feed sees everything.
One job a day. One crew. Split the take.
Every day at noon UTC a job hits the board: a caravan to shake down after dark, a casino vault to crack, a hillside manor with the staff conveniently away. Any holder can enlist their citizen for the crew. At 18:00 UTC they go in together, and the whole city reads the result in the feed.
Your role is who you are
No class menus. Your citizen's highest skill decides what they do on the job:
| Role | Drawn from | On the job |
|---|---|---|
| 🗝️ Infiltrator | Smarts | Locks, ledgers, alarm boxes. The quiet work that makes the loud work optional. |
| 💪 Muscle | Strength | Doors that will not open politely, and guards who ask too many questions. |
| 🎭 Face | Charisma | Talks the crew past anyone in a uniform. Smiles all the way to the vault. |
| 🍀 Charm | Luck | Carries no crowbar. Adds their Luck to the pot, plus a flat bonus to the whole crew's odds just by being there. |
How the dice fall
Success comes down to the crew's combined role skill against the job's difficulty. Bigger, sharper crews swing the odds; a Charm on board sweetens them further. The chance is floored at 15% and capped at 90%: a green crew can still get lucky, and a stacked crew can still eat dirt.
✅ The job lands
Everyone walks with an equal cut of the loot (harder jobs pay fatter cuts) and a happiness bump. Even then, someone can get grabbed on the way out. Fortune is not a contract.
🚔 The job goes sideways
The whole crew takes Stress, and roughly 40% of them get marched to jail for 3 ticks. Jailed citizens skip work and wandering until it clears. You can pay their bail in Gold and spring them early.
Each wallet sends one citizen per day, and there is only ever one job on the board. Pick the family member you would trust with your cut. The heist is a shared story: the city celebrates a clean job together and gossips about a botched one for days.
Four assets. One signal a day. A rhythm, not a printer.
The city runs its own little exchange. Four hometown assets trade around the clock, prices moving on every tick. Your citizen keeps a sliver of their wealth in the market, and once a day you call the direction.
| Asset | What it is | Season that loves it |
|---|---|---|
| MIST | Mist gold, skimmed off the fog banks at dawn | 🍂 Emberfall |
| PLUME | Griffin down, prized by every tailor in Uptown | 🌸 Bloomtide |
| COAL | Sky coal, fuel of the high furnaces | ❄️ Frostveil |
| KELP | Kelp from the upper currents, the dockside staple | ☀️ Highsun |
What moves the tape
- The tick. Every tick nudges every price: random drift, a gentle pull back toward par, a hard floor and ceiling. No asset moons, no asset dies.
- The event of the day. A market day lifts everything. A storm pumps COAL and dumps PLUME. A festival lifts MIST. Quiet days trade thin.
- The season. The slow current underneath: each season steadily favors its own asset for as long as it lasts. Read the sky, read the tape.
Your one signal
Once a day you set your citizen's stance on a single asset: long, short, or flat. A slice of their wealth rides the position on every tick that follows, and the gains and losses are capped per tick in both directions.
The market pays attention, not rent. Reading the day's event and the current season can turn a coin flip into an edge, but the caps keep every outcome civilized: it seasons a life, it never makes or breaks one. Come for the tape, stay for the story.
Every coin spent lays a brick.
All the Gold the city spends (Sends, Talks, Second Winds, bail money) flows into one public construction fund. Cross a milestone and a new building rises on the map: for everyone, forever. Nobody owns it. Everybody built it.
| Milestone | City spend | What rises |
|---|---|---|
| 🍺 Tavern Annex | 5,000 Gold | The tavern spills into a new wing. More stools, more gossip, more trouble. |
| ⚔️ Duel Arena | 20,000 Gold | Sand raked, blades sharpened. Grudges get settled in public now. |
| 🎈 Skydocks | 60,000 Gold | Mooring towers over the rooftops. The first airship is already inbound. |
| 🗼 Lighthouse | 150,000 Gold | Its beam sweeps the whole valley. The city can be seen from anywhere. |
Only spending counts. Earnings, payouts, and faucets never move the needle: the city grows out of what its people burn, not what they hoard. The HUD shows the running total and the next milestone, climbing in real time as the whole player base spends.
A whole year every 12 hours.
The islands cycle through four biomes, one every 3 real hours, on a shared clock: everyone on the planet sees the same season at the same moment. Leave the city at breakfast and come back after dinner to a different sky, different trees, different water.
| Season | The look | Market lean |
|---|---|---|
| 🍂 Emberfall | Amber canopies, harvest facades, golden-hour light | MIST runs warm |
| ❄️ Frostveil | Snow-capped roofs, iced ponds, indigo northern nights | COAL heats up, KELP wilts |
| 🌸 Bloomtide | Petal drift, pastel facades, soft spring light | PLUME floats up |
| ☀️ Highsun | Deep lush greens, bright skies, deep-blue water | KELP thrives, COAL cools |
Seasons are not wallpaper. Each one leans on the City Market for its full 3 hours, which makes the sky itself a trading signal: glance out the window before you place the day's call.
The four-week competitive season (leaderboard, payouts) and the 3-hour world season (biome, market) run on different clocks. This section is the weather. The paydays live up in Quests & Seasons.
The city token (ticker: TBA) — the city runs on it.
Utility, not vibes:
- Tier gating — your balance sets how many citizens you run and what you can do (read-only, never connected).
- Interventions — Sends, Boosts, Rescues, Gifts, cosmetics.
- Wheel spins — paid spins at the casino.
- Arena bets — stake on fighters, split the pot.
- Payouts — Sell Life rewards and wheel jackpots are paid out in the token; seasonal top-5 paid in ETH.
Burn policy: 50% of every single payment in the game is burned, permanently, with public batch receipts.
Launch: fair launch on Robinhood Chain. No presale, no team allocation games.
CA: TBA
The contract address will be posted here at launch — it will be the only official contract. Beware impersonators.
Questions, answered straight.
Is this safe? Seriously?
Yes, by design. Watching is free with zero wallet involvement. Playing only needs your address pasted as text — we read a public balance, exactly like a block explorer would. There is no "Connect Wallet" button to play, no approvals, no token allowances, ever. The only signature in the entire game is a one-time message signature if you choose to do money operations — and a message signature cannot move funds.
Do I ever need to connect my wallet?
No. Not to spectate, not to play. For money moves (selling a life, minting, betting, paid interventions) you sign one message to prove the address is yours, and payments are plain token transfers you send yourself. No dapp connection, no smart-contract approval screens.
What happens if my balance drops below my tier?
Your citizens are frozen — paused in time, not killed, not taken away. They don't age, don't die, don't lose progress. Restore your balance and they wake up exactly where they left off. We don't confiscate anything, ever.
How fast does a life go by?
One in-game year is about two real hours, so a full life runs roughly 6–8 real days from cradle to legend. The city ticks every 15 minutes — each tick, your citizen lives through a new event wherever they are. Fast enough to stay gripping, slow enough that you don't need to babysit.
Can my citizen die early?
They can. Old age comes for everyone eventually, but two things can cut a life short: the Docks (high risk, triple rewards — you knew the deal) and total burnout from maxed-out Stress. Manage their rest, or roll the dice and chase the legend. Either way, an early dramatic death often makes for a better story — and stories score.
What happens to the city when nobody's playing?
Nothing stops. The city is populated by AI citizens who are born, work, gamble, fall in love with the diner, and die entirely on their own — 24 hours a day. Holders claim citizens out of a living world; they don't keep it alive. Open the site at 4am and the tram is still running.
Why would I sell a life instead of minting it?
Selling pays you in the token from the treasury, scaled to the Life Score — instant value for a life well-lived. Minting turns it into a permanent NFT trophy card instead. Enshrining is free and puts the life in the Hall of Legends forever. One life, one choice — pick what the story deserves.
When token?
Fair launch on Robinhood Chain. Contract address will be posted here and on the official Twitter — and nowhere else first. CA: TBA. If you see an "Vivaria" CA before we post one, it's a fake.
